Assessment

According to the College’s policy all Erasmus students undergo the same grading system as Polish students. The result achieved in a subject, whether through continuous assessment or in an examination, is generally expressed in a 2.0 to 5.0 grading scheme. The lowest passing grade is 3.0.

5.0 (excellent) – outstanding performance

4.5 (very good) – above the average standard but with some errors

4.0 (good) – generally sound work with a number of notable errors

3.5 (satisfactory) – fair but with significant shortcomings

3.0 (sufficient) – performance meets the minimum criteria

2.0 (fail) – considerable further work is required
